Metamora, Indiana Canal Days Festival

A Three Day Event starting the first Friday of October
     
Metamora Canal Days   Get out your walking shoes and you huge vinyl bag because you'll want to attend one of Indiana's most popular festival.  Thousands of people flock to Metamora during Canal Days year after year.  Along with over 70 shops and eateries found in Metamora you'll see hundreds of outside vendors and artist selling antiques, crafts, collectibles and flea market merchandise.

Even though there are hundreds of vendors you'll still want to take the time to enter the shops and eateries.  Many shop have specials just for canal days.

During Canal Days you won't be able to park within the town. All parking areas will be covered with vendor tents. Parking is available across Hwy 52 and past Duck Creek Crossing.

Enjoy wondering around looking at all the unique merchandise available and enjoy the special festival eats and treats.

Canal Days originated over 40 years ago in the autumn of the year following the harvest, farmers and traders gathered in
towns to sell and trade the fruits of their labor. Today, this tradition continues with Canal Days.

LOOKING TO RENT SPACE AT CANAL DAYS? There are 2 ways to rent space at Canal Days. One is from Historic Metamora and the other is from individual property owners.

Historic Metamora rents all the State property. This consist of the property along the canal and the Park. To rent these spaces you must sell handmade items or antiques. To rent these spaces all products have to be approved. You can download the vendor application at www.historicmetamora.pbworks.com. You can also Contact Historic Metamora via email.

Individual property owners. You must contact the property owner to rent space. If you are looking for space and do not know who to contact you can come to Metamora and talk to property owners or send an email requesting information on space. The email will be sent to many of the property owners so you may be contacted by more than one.
