etc. Dorothy Humbarger is an artist
in oils, acrylics, watercolors and mixed media. She also works in
inks and pastels. Dorothy is a graduate of John Herron Art School and
Greenville College. She holds a Masters Degree from Indiana University.
She is a member of various art groups
including the Whitewater Arts Association, Indiana Artists-Craftsmen,
The National League of American Pen Women Inc., Indiana Federation of
Art Clubs, and Southside Art League Inc.
Currently her painting and drawing style
has a tendency towards a poetic expressionism and "vivencia" with a
touch of the nostalgic. It is a poetic experience.
She is represented in many collections
public and private. Dorothy has shown her work in several
one-person exhibits and in juried shows. Her artwork can be found
